Past: Total Eclipse Blood Drive - Perryville

The American Red Cross and KFVS12 are encouraging area blood donors to join them on the dark side to help with emergency blood shortages at the annual KFVS Summer Blood Drive Aug. 11 and 12. This year’s theme aligns with the pending total solar eclipse Aug. 21.

Everyone who attempts to donate will receive a $5 Target.com gift card code and a $3 Subway gift card. In addition, all presenting donors will receive a specially designed ‘Welcome To The Dark Side,’ Total Eclipse’ T-shirt, compliments of Isle Casinos, while supplies last.

Donors can save time and make appointments by downloading the Red Cross Blood Donor App or by visiting redcrossblood.org and entering the sponsor code KFVS12. In addition, they can also call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767). To help reduce wait times, donors are encouraged to make appointments and complete the RapidPass online health history questionnaire at redcrossblood.org/rapidpass.
