Neko Case

Neko Case has performed and recorded solo, as Neko Case and her Boyfriends, with The New Pornographers, Cub, The Corn Sisters, The Sadies, Kelly Hogan, Mao and others.

She was born on September 8, 1970 in Alexandria, VA. She moved to Vancouver, BC in 1994 where she earned her BFA. While in Canada, she recorded several tracks that were in The New Pornographers album "Mass Romantic." Case has performed many of the vocals on the band's albums.

With Her Boyfriends she recorded "The Virginian" and "Furnace Room Lullaby."
On her own, Neko started her own label - Lady Pilot - which produced her first solo record "Canadian Amp." Case's other solo albums were "Blacklisted," "The Tigers Have Spoken," "Fox confessor Brings the Flood," and "Middle Cyclone."
