Past: Binding Memories: Handmade Japanese Stab Bound Book - $35

Do you save concert ticket stubs, old postcards, fortune cookie fortunes and other little bits and pieces to remind you of good thoughts, and good times? How about spending an afternoon learning how to make your very own hand bound Memory Book to keep all those precious tidbits? Using a Japanese Stab Binding technique you will create a handmade book for old photos, important quotes, drawings on pub napkins, postcards, ticket stubs, and other mementos using vintage fabric, ribbon or cord, beads, buttons and assorted papers. All materials are included in the cost of the workshop for creating an 8” by 12” memory book complete with a unique button and bead closure. Bring a few mementos you might like to include in your book.
