Past: Memorial Day at Fort D Historic Site

Memorial Day

Monday, May 27th, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

First observed after the end of the Civil War, Memorial Day honors the memory of U. S. soldiers who have died in military service. Local re-enactors will honor the memory of veterans past and present.

Bring a lawn chair and enjoy period music by the Front Porch Players at 10 AM. (Weather permitting)
