DESCRIPTION:Dance with Tango Lesson Friday, Aug 28th  7:00 to 9:00 p.m.  American Style Tango features sharp movements and a cat-like and stealthy foot action. The music is in 4/4 time and has a marching rhythm.  The dance became a big hit in the social setting and developed a very simplistic, codified move set.  Just $5 per person at the door, cash only. No bills over $20, please. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. The evening begins at 7:00 p.m. with a 30-minute dance lesson, followed by dancing to mixed ballroom music. Line dances included.  No smoking. No alcohol. Water is available. You may bring your own snacks and non-alcoholic  beverages. Cape Ballroom Friday Night Dances are held from 7-9 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, 2731 Thomas Drive, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701.  Cape Ballroom gift certificates make a great gift!
