Friday, SEP 11th, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.  "The Cha-Cha is a lively, syncopated Latin American ballroom and social dance originating from Cuba in the early 1950s. It is famously characterised by its distinct "cha-cha-chá" triple-step rhythm, playful energy, and expressive Cuban hip motion." (Google AI) Just $5 per person at the door, cash only. No bills over $20, please. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. The evening begins at 7:00 p.m. with a group dance lesson including dancing practice to mixed ballroom music until 9 p.m. with instructors available. Line dances are included.   No smoking. No alcohol. Water is available. You may bring your own snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. Cape Ballroom Friday Night Dance Lessons are held from 7 to 9 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, 2731 Thomas Drive, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701.  Cape Ballroom gift certificates make a great gift!
