Past: Spectrum Conference for Nonprofits

Renaissance St. Louis Airport Hotel

Registration is open for the annual Spectrum conference of the Community Service Public Relations Council (CSPRC). This full-day event for communication professionals in the nonprofit sector features two keynote speakers and presentations in marketing, leadership and fundraising. Spectrum occurs Tuesday, May 8 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Renaissance St. Louis Airport Hotel.

Author and entrepreneur Keisha Mabry delivers the morning keynote. Mabry is the director of innovation at a local nonprofit, College Bound, and a lecturer at Washington University. She recently presented a TED talk about connecting people to resources and to other people. Her work has been covered by NPR, the Nine Network and The Business Journal.

Matt Homann, founder and CEO of Filament, gives the afternoon keynote as a problem-solving session. Homann’s mission and his passion are helping people collaborate and solve problems face to face. His company designs, hosts and facilitates meetings that are invigorating and insightful.

CSPRC members and guests come from public and private nonprofit agencies and organizations in the greater St. Louis and Metro East areas. Founded locally more than 40 years ago, CSPRC offers professional development and networking opportunities at a fraction of the corporate cost.

Conference fees range from $99 to $145. The Renaissance St. Louis Airport Hotel is at 9801 Natural Bridge Road and offers free parking. Register online at http://www.csprc.org or call 314-416-2237.
