Past: Make it Green Clean

Registration period: May 13 - July 1

Native plants are so important to all of our wildlife, but they serve some human purposes also. Plants have historically been used as food, medicine, dyes, and many so much else. Plants can also help keep our homes safe and clean. Together we will explore several native plants and use them to make household cleaners. Everyone will go home with some samples we will make and be ready for spring cleaning. If you are participating in Cape Nature Center “A Year in Color” this program earns a green plant bead.
