The Riverfront Fall Festival will take place on Kellerman Foundation parking lot, Water Street, Themis Street and Riverfront Park along the flood wall. Artisans from all over the Southeast Missouri region will sell a variety of their one-of-a-kind handicrafts and pieces of artwork. The food court and Main Stage area will offer outs=door seating and additional food and local beverages to compliment the restaurants in downtown Cape Girardeau. Squashua is awaiting the opening ceremony where he will be freed from fall festival responsibilities Cape Girardeau mayor Stacy Kinder, as the pardoned pumpkin. Children's activities include a kids costume contest, face painting, balloon animals, a crafting station with several fall crafts, games and more. The music lineup has something for everyone with Steve Schaffner and the Jumper Cables, Maggie Thorn, The Faultline Band, The Water Street Band and the Ivas John Band.
