Past: Chaffee German Days

Two day yearly town celebration similar to Homecoming. Food, Entertainment, Dances, Talent Show, Queen Contest, Softball, Washers and Bean Bag Tournaments, Carnival and Bingo.

Friday's schedule of events

Chaffee Elks Chicken Stand, 4:30 to 10 p.m.

Chaffee Elks Beer Stand, 4:30 p.m. to midnight.

Pageant starts at 6 p.m. Age groups are 0-12 months (boys and girls); 1 to 3 years old (boys and girls); 4 to 6 years old (boys and girls); 7 to 9 years (boys and girls); 10 to 13 years old (girls); 9th to 12th grade (girls). Entry forms can be picked up at the Chaffee Banking Center or Chaffee City Hall.

H&H Amusement Carnival will be from 6 to 10 p.m. $15 arm bands.

8-team wooden bat softball tournament will be held at 6:30 p.m.

Cornhole tournament will be at 7 p.m. with draw for partner and signup at 6:30 p.m.

Excalibur Sound System will be 8 p.m. to midnight.

Saturday's schedule of events

8-team wooden bat softball tournament starting at 9:30 a.m.

Chaffee Elks greased pole contest will all day until the money is gone.

SEMO Swamp Rats, a German polka band will play noon to 1 p.m.

Classy Chassy Country will play 1 to 3 p.m.

The washer tournament will have signups at 2:30 p.m. with draw for partner and start at 3 p.m.

The talent show, sponsorec by Heartland Talent Showcase, will be held at 5 p.m. H&H Amusement Carnival will be 6 to 10 p.m. with $15 arm bands.

The cornhole tournament will be held after the washer tournament.

Renegade Sound System by Randy Elfrank will be held 8 p.m. to mignight.
