Past: Dinosaur Days

Bollinger County Museum of Natural History

October is International Dinosaur Month. Celebrate with us at the Bollinger County Museum of Natural History in Marble Hill on Saturday, October 24 to celebrate dinosaurs. Our full size tyrannosaur model will be leaving in December. This is a great time to see this exhibit before it closes. Learn about prehistoric life in Missouri and across the continent through our dinosaur and Ice Age exhibits.

Brian Phillips will present a workshop on "Dinosaur Model Making" from 1:00-2:00pm using clay as a visual aid in explaining aspects of dinosaur anatomy. All participants will have the opportunity to make and take home a dinosaur model.

Children's activities will include a dinosaur scavenger hunt, dinosaur puzzles, games, rubbings, molds, and more!

Pick up a free Missouri dinosaur magnet with your admission; while supplies last.

All activities are free with your paid admission.

Admission: Adults $5 and 17 years and under $2

The Museum will be open from 12pm-4:30pm
