Past: Partners in sustainable Development International to Speak

Nancy Jernigan, executive director of Partners in Sustainable Development International, the sister agency of the Poverty Eradication Program, will speak about the holistic model for poverty dradication these programs offer to the poor in Bangldesh. This work, which began in 1987, forms partnership with poor, rural families to create individual pathways out of poverty. The holistic approach focuses on the home, schools, health and work. The latest numbers indicate the model is operating in 1,643 villages and has served over 500,000 people.
