Special Blood is a Documentary made about a rare disease called Hereditary Angioedema (HAE). This is a disease that is misdiagnosed by many because of its rarity. It is a documentary that was directed by Natalie Metzger, who was diagnosed with HAE about 10 years ago. She follows 4 patients with this rare disease to show the world how life-threatening the disease can be. She also shows the daily struggles, the hidden effects, and physicians perspectives about what is going on with this condition. There are 38 more tickets available for this premiere showing. This documentary will give everyone an opportunity to help support and medically treat those fighting this disease. Just like any disease we need to learn as much as possible about it to help further research and help those with it. My husband has been to plenty of clinics and hospitals where they have never heard about HAE or the treatments for it.
