Past: Altenburg Library Membership Drive - Kick-off Event

Riverside Regional Library

This event kicks-off a 6-week membership drive for the Riverside Regional Library (RRL) Friends of the Library @ Altenburg.

Children’s story time and activities start at 10 am.

Beginning at 11, Perry County native Ann Hazelwood will be signing and selling copies of her latest book For the Love of Quilts, which is the first book in the Wine Country Quilts series. Ms. Hazelwood has also written a very popular book series based in East Perry County as well as one based in St. Charles, MO, where she resides. Her knowledge and love of quilts and their history is evident in each novel as well as her passion for her characters and the communities where her stories are set.

Friends of the Library @ Altenburg is a non-profit organization which enhances on-going activities and supports special projects at the RRL Branch Library in Altenburg. Funds raised by the Friends can be used to purchase new books and equipment, present special library programs, and more.

Benefits of a Friends’ membership include members-only previews of book sales or discount and discounted tickets for events. Annual membership fees are only $5 for an individual, $10 for a family, or $25 for a business.
