Come explore with us. Discover Southeast Missouri where dinosaurs roamed, man explored, and brother fought brother. Our exhibits feature natural and people history spanning the ages. Step back in time to the age of dinosaurs, explore life on the Trail of Tears, enjoy metal sculptures, paintings and drawings from the Tom Runnels collection, see fossils, wild life taxidermy and much more inside this architectural treasure that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

A new exhibit opening Saturday, April 28, will feature artifacts and pottery from the mound building people of the Peter Bess settlement in Bollinger County, MO.

Check out the expanded forestry exhibit and the vintage glass exhibit.

On Saturday, April 28 only, for $1 donation, folks can paint for a minute or so on a canvas print of Dina MO. All money raised, as well as the finished painting, will go to the Bollinger County Museum of Natural History. Missouri dinosaur canvas provided by Paint for a Cause - Cape Girardeau, MO.

Special admission discount for April 28 and 29 scenic drive weekend only.

Museum Hours: Saturday, April 28: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sunday, April 29: Noon - 4:30 p.m.

Museum Hours starting May 3, 2018: Every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday 12 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. and the first Sunday of each month 12 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
