Past: Stopping at Ellis Island, performed by the Saxony High School Drama Club

The performance takes place in 1906, in a room on Ellis Island; where newly arrived immigrants are told to wait. The immigrants, from Ireland, Norway, Italy and Russia are worried they will be sent back to Europe. This is their story of hopes and dreams of starting a new life.

Tickets are $8 and can be purchased by calling the Saxony High School office at 573-204-7555 or tickets can be purchased at the door at the time of the performance.

Two Show Times are available:

Sunday, Jan. 27 @ 3:30 p.m. and Wednesday, Jan. 30 @ 7 p.m.

Desserts showcasing the different countries portrayed in the production will be provided.
