Labor Day is typically a day of rest, but the soldiers and civilians at Fort D will be busy preparing for fall and celebrating the addition of Fort D to the National Register of Historic Places. Join local reenactors at a special salute to Fort D at 11:00 a.m. Refreshments will follow. New recruits interested in reenacting and general public welcome! Admission is free. (Weather permitting.)
