Past: When Particles Collide

In what may be our most unique show ever, we will host WHEN PARTICLES COLLIDE on Monday, March 2. We have been anticipating this for months.

The “Particles” are a 2 piece rock band (think White Stripes) consisting of Sasha and Chris Viner. Sasha is a punk rock guitarist/vocalist and Chris is a jazz drummer. Both are exceptional talents. Sasha and Chris met when they were cast in “Hedwig and the Angry Inch,” a Bangor, Maine, production of the rock ‘n roll musical. They were the guitarist and drummer in Hedwig’s rock band. Since their collaboration, the duo has amassed a number of awards which include Boston’s “Best New Artist.”

Their music is difficult to classify but is described well in the “Boston Herald” noting “You’re onto something great when you can deliver a straight forward pop nugget that pulls from Motown, heavy metal, and equal parts Joan Jett and Nancy Sinatra. . . . punk rock, fiery metal crescendos and delicate melodic turns . . . groovy, heavy pop, slick hypnotic new wave (power pop? Power wave?).”

We feel privileged to be part of their “Unstoppable Tour” and think you are in for a major treat.
