Past: Drug Take Back Day

The Jackson Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration will hold a drug take back day. This will be a drive-thru event. The public can drop off potentially dangerous prescriptions medications. The service is free, anonymous and there will be no questions asked. Also, the Jackson Fire department will conduct child safety seat checks at the same location. Medicines accepted are tablets, capsules, patches and other solid forms of prescriptions drugs. Liquids (including intravenous solutions), syrings and other sharps and illegal drugs will not be accepted. Vaping devices and cartridges provided lithium batteries are removed will be accepted.
