Past: World Labyrinth Day Walk for Peace at The Labyrinth at Abbey Road (Cape Girardeau, MO)

The Labyrinth at Abbey Road (2411 Abbey Road, Cape Girardeau, MO) will be hosting a “Walk as One at 1” event on Saturday, May 7, at 1:00 p.m., walking for peace with other labyrinth walkers around the globe at 1:00 p.m. in their time zones. Thousands of people will participate in this 14th Annual World Labyrinth Day moving meditation for peace, and in celebration of the labyrinth experience. Labyrinths are found throughout the world with the oldest dating back thousands of years. In contemporary use, labyrinths provide an opportunity for personal reflection, spiritual practice, or the reduction of stress in many different public and private settings. Over 6,000 labyrinths are listed on the World-Wide Labyrinth Locator website (labyrinthlocator.com) including our labyrinth in Cape Girardeau on the grounds of Abbey Road Christian Church.
