Past: The Mighty Mississippi (Virtual)

The “Mighty Mississippi” makes up the entire eastern border of our state and is one of the most important rivers in the world. It’s been there our whole lives, but how much do we really know about the river? Tune in as we talk all things Mississippi River and take a closer look at some of the animals that call this river home. This program is open to all ages; however it is most suitable for ages 12 and up. For those participating in the Cape Nature Center’s “A Year in Color,” this program will earn a blue aquatics bead, and virtual participants are welcome to pick their bead up at the nature center after the program.
