Past: Doodle Troop

Riverside Pottery Studio

Southeast presents Doodle Troop, an exhibition of work by Southeast Missouri State University students Clayton Moser, Alexis Richardson, Alexis Howard, Pearl Duden, Peyton Smith, and Nathan Gilpin. The exhibition will be on display Nov. 21 - Nov. 27, 2022 at the Riverside Pottery Studio in downtown Cape Girardeau. The exhibition is free and open to the public with stickers that can be picked out by all visitors. The artwork created for this show was made with the purpose of showing off the designs the students have created in efforts of making their own written stories. The show will consist of a multitude of character designs stemming from the narrative worlds the students have created. Designs featured in the show are currently in or are planned to be featured in visual narrative concepts such as web comics, or developed into lines of toys and stuffed animals. Characters on display excellently capture the attributes of well fleshed out action heroes, mascots, mystical beings, and day to day relatable people. The exhibition is directed by Bradley Phillips, Professor of Photography and New Media at Southeast.
