Past: The BeTween Initiative Expo Event
The BeTween Initiative, a 501c3 organization focused on promoting the health and wellness of Tween girls, is hosting their annual expo on April 1st from 1-4pm. This exciting, canít miss FREE event is expo style featuring a variety of interactive exhibitors with a goal of introducing our community of Tweens to programs and opportunities they may never knew existed in their town.
In addition to booth activities there will be a science demo hosted by the Discovery Playhouse and SEMO Area Health Education Center, performances and demonstrations by local cheer, dance, yoga and martial arts groups as well as a Tween CHOPPED! hosted by Square One Wellness. Social media safety seminars led by Safe House for Women and SEMO Network Against Sexual Violence will also be running throughout the afternoon with the event concluding with a one-mile Fun Run sponsored by Missouri Running. The first 200 Tweens will receive a free gift and an automatic entry to win door prizes!
