Past: Fourth of July Celebration

The 5K Walk/run and children's fun run will begin at 7:04 a.m. at HealthPoint Fitness in Jackson. The mud volleyball tournament will being at 8:30 a.m. and helicopter rides will start at 8:30 a.m. The beer garden will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and the car show will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The food stands will open at 9 a.m. The Hubble Creek rubber duck races will being at 11 a.m. at the pedestrian bridge over Hubble Creek. It is sponsored by the Jackson Heritage Association and proceeds will promote their work to preserve history in the community and the Oliver House Museum. Shades of Soul will play at 7 p.m. at the Nick Leist Bandshell with the Jackson Municipal Band playing at 8 p.m. The fireworks show will begin at 9 p.m.
