The Twelve Days of Christmas in Southeast Missouri

The Cape Girardeau County Historical Society's History Center, 102 S. High St., Jackson, MO, is proud to announce their Annual Holiday Exhibition: “The Twelve Days of Christmas in Southeast Missouri.” Displays include “Nine Ladies Dancing at SEMO’s River Campus,” “More than Four Calling Missouri Birds,” “More than Seven Swans a Swimming on Hubble Creek,” “Ten Lords and Southeast Missouri white-tailed Deer a Leaping,” with “Eight Maids a Milking surrounded by their Missouri Barn Quilts.” The “Twelve Drummers Drumming” tree is an interactive sound sculpture with numerous drums and other percussive instruments. All of the other special days are exhibited on trees and landscapes. The exhibit is surrounded by beautiful interpretations of the Southeast Missouri winter woodlands. Join us, Mon.-Sat., from 10 am-4pm from now until Jan. 15, 2025. Admission is free. Group tours are welcome.
