Past: Notre Dame Spring Musical: The Sound of Music

SPECIAL NOTE: The Friday, April 4, showing of Notre Dame's spring musical, The Sound of Music, has been postponed due to the threat of severe weather. The show has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 5, at 1:00 p.m. All previously purchased tickets for the Friday showing will be valid and automatically transferred to the 1:00 p.m. Saturday show.

Notre Dame Regional High School is excited to announce the spring musical production of The Sound of Music!

When an Austrian postulant proves too high-spirited for the religious life, she is dispatched to serve as governess for the seven children of a widowed naval Captain. Her generosity of spirit, love of music and growing rapport with the children gradually capture the heart of the stern Captain. They fall in love and marry. Upon returning from their honeymoon, the newlyweds discover that Austria has been invaded by the Nazis, who demand the Captain’s immediate service in their navy. Refusing to capitulate, the Captain and his family narrowly escape over the mountains to Switzerland.

Performances will be held on April 3, 4 and 5 at 7:00 p.m. at Notre Dame’s Cynthia R. King Performance Hall. Join us for a matinee on Sunday, April 6 at 3:00 p.m. Tickets are on sale online at www.notredamehighschool.org/musical.
