Early Settlement in Cape Girardeau County on the Mississippi River Symposium

Join the Cape Girardeau County Historical Society for an adventure to regional early settlement interpretive sites with historian, Carla Jordan. The morning will begin with a bus tour, and will end with a private luncheon. The afternoon session is in partnership with Riverside Regional Library and includes a French Creole musical presentation by Dennis Stroughmatt and a keynote address about the indigenous people in the region during the Colonial Era by Missouri Speaker’s Bureau presenter, Suzanne Jones.
