Cape Ballroom Friday Night Dance with Smooth Foxtrot Lesson
Friday, August 22nd- 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
“Foxtrot is the dance of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. This smooth and elegant dance had its beginnings in a New York theater. There, Harry Fox began dancing a series of trotting steps to ragtime music. It evolved to incorporate the walking and brush steps that made this dance so popular. Foxtrot is danced to music with a 4/4 time signature and has two rhythms: slow-slow-quick-quick and slow-quick-quick.” (from Ballroom Dance Academy)
