32nd NATIONAL DAY OF SERVICE (Honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.)

The National Day of Service Act (1994) gives attendees the opportunity to donate canned goods, nonperishable items, toiletries, feminine products (tampons and sanitary pads) hats, gloves and scarfs. All items donated will be distributed to area agencies that serve individuals in need. Also you may choose to volunteer to help others with area agencies.

Items may be dropped off at the Osage from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. or at the Shawnee Park Center. Students may donate Monday, January 12th-Friday, January 16th at their schools. For more information call Debra Mitchell Braxton at 573-275-6814 or email mitchellbraxtond@capetigers.com.
