Conservation Kids: Let's Fly a Kite

March is a great month to fly a kite! Soon, we will be able to look up to the skies and see the graceful, Mississippi kite, too. These sleek, aerial-hunting raptors are well known for their acrobatics and striking coloration. Learn how these birds soar effortlessly, catch insects on the wing, and raise their young. We’ll also explore where they migrate and how we can help them. Make sure to bring your creativity because we will be making our own version of a kite to test on a windy day.
