Southeast Missouri communities are invited to join in the fight against Huntington’s Disease (HD). Join us for the 5th Team Hope Walk, on Saturday, April 11, 2026. The Walk will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jackson, MO. Team Hope Walk is the Huntington's Disease Society of America (HDSA)’s nationwide fundraising event bringing together families, friends, and communities to support those affected by Huntington’s disease. Registration starts at 9 AM! The Walk will begin at 10:00! Walk activities include a hamburger and hot dog lunch, a Silent Auction, Raffles, a Kid’s Korner and more.

“We are walking for a Mission and to make a difference! It’s a chance for our local Southeast Missouri communities to come together, share our stories, and make a tangible difference in the fight against this disease." says Kim Landewee, Missouri HDSA President and Southeast Missouri Walk Coordinator. Everyone in Southeast Missouri is welcome.

All proceeds from the event go to the Missouri HDSA. These funds are used to improve the lives of people living with HD and their families through community services, education, advocacy, and research. An individual’s children have a 50 percent risk of developing HD.
