Conservation Adults: Camp Series: Lasagna Lizards in Saint Louis

This type of lasagna is not one you would find on The Hill in Saint Louis; this is a lasagna lizard – Missouri’s very own hellbender salamander! Travel with us to Saint Louis to learn all about the imperiled and rare species that is unique to the Ozark and Saint Louis regions. Participants will get a behind-the-scenes tour of the hellbender restoration project and facilities at the Saint Louis Zoo. Afterwards, participants will enjoy kayaking on the lakes in Forrest Park. No prior kayaking experience needed. All equipment will be provided. Participants should pack a sack lunch and snacks. A detailed email will be sent out prior to the program.
