SMSC Championship Meet

Good Afternoon. My name is Jeff Tipton and I am the Publicity Chairman for the River City Aquatics Booster Club. RCA (River City Aquatics) & the Booster Club will be hosting the season finale for the Southeast Missouri Swim Conference Championship Meet this Saturday, July 18th at Cape Aquatic Center (1920 Whitener Street). The event starts at 8:00 am and will conclude once all events are complete. Following the meet there will be a pool-side awards ceremony for individuals and team awards.

We are expecting around 300 swimmers (ages 6 - 18) and their families from 10 swim clubs & teams from Missouri. Participating teams include: River City Aquatics from Cape Girardeau, The Poplar Bluff Piranhas, Sikeston and Charleston BlueRacers , The Farmington Area Swim Team (FAST), The St. Genevieve Stingrays, The Perryville Piranhas, The Jackson Barracudas, Caruthersville Seismic Crush, The Mid-Missouri Swim Team and the Kennett Killer Whales Swim Team.

The Booster Club and participating swim clubs & teams is requesting coverage for the Championship Swim Meet. Upon arrival please stop at the announcers table located on the north wall of the Cape Aquatic Center.
