Dance with West Coast Swing Lesson

Friday, July 31st - 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

"West Coast Swing is a partner dance that evolved from the Lindy Hop. It is known for its unique elastic look, which is achieved through an extension-compression technique that connects partners. This dance is primarily performed in a slotted area on the dance floor, and danced to Rhythm & Blues." WIkipedia

Just $5 per person at the door, cash only. No bills over $20, please. Doors open at 6:45 p.m.

The evening begins at 7:00 p.m. with a 30-minute dance lesson, followed by dancing to mixed ballroom music. Line dances included. No smoking. No alcohol. Water is available. You may bring your own snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.

Cape Ballroom Friday Night Dances are held from 7-9 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, 2731 Thomas Drive, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701.
