Gateway Down Syndrome Association - Southeast Missouri Chapter Annual Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk & Festival

The SEMO Step Up for Down Syndrome is Southeast Missouri's largest Down syndrome awareness event in the region. This family-friendly celebration features food, games, music, vendors, prizes, and a short Awareness Walk, bringing together individuals with Down syndrome, their families, and the community for a day of fun and support.

The festival begins at 10:00 a.m., with the Awareness Walk at 11:00 a.m. Form a team to honor a loved one and fundraise if you'd like, or simply attend and enjoy the day - participation is free, and fundraising is optional.

All proceeds stay local to support programs, resources, and services for individuals with Down syndrome and their families throughout Southeast Missouri.
