Cape County Genealogical Society meeting

Join us at 7 p.m. on September 22 at the Cape Girardeau County Archive Center, 112 E. Washington, Jackson, for our bimonthly meeting. We are proud to announce our speaker will be Tom Neumeyer, who will discuss his new book, "Cape Girardeau and Jackson: Past and Present." He will have copies for sale at the meeting. This is an excellent book on local history--outstanding photos of landmarks past with present-day views of the landmarks or sites where they stood. The text is detailed and well-written. You won't want to miss this one!
