Trapping 101: Trap Sets

Registration period: October 1 - October 27

Location: Mingo National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center

NEVER TRAPPED BEFORE AND DON'T KNOW WHERE TO START? PERFECT.

Start here. Join us for the next part of the Trapping 101 series - a collaboration between MDC, the Missouri Trappers Association, and local trapping experts.

Come for a hands-on introduction to trapping where you’ll learn the basics—from how traps work and how to choose the right one, to building a set designed to attract your target furbearer. Then, we will take it outside and put those skills to work setting traps in the field.

SUNDAY MORNING trap check required.

No experience needed. All materials provided. Just bring your lunch and your curiosity - get ready to learn a new outdoor skill.
