Past: Fake & Fabulous 100+ Years of Couture Jewelry

Fake and Fabulous 100+ Years of Couture Jewelry will be on display and FREE to the public at the Mayfield Cultural Center on the main level August 6 from 11 am to 3 pm through September 4, 2016. Showcasing antique and vintage jewelry, the show will also feature lavish accessories such as hats, gloves and handbags. The Mayfield Cultural Center is in the former Will Mayfield College circa 1884 and also includes a café, gallery & gift shop, as well as the Chapel and Ballroom event spaces. The Will Mayfield Heritage Foundation houses the Bollinger County Museum of Natural History and the Mayfield Cultural Center in the last two remaining buildings of the former Will Mayfield College (Mayfield-Smith Academy 1884-1903) in Marble Hill. The Mayfield Cultural Center is a project of the Will Mayfield Heritage Foundation, and is located at 209 Mayfield Drive. Both the Museum and Cultural Center are run almost entirely by volunteers, donations from the public, and rely on the generosity of the communities they serve.
