Past: Tom Runnels Sculptures on Display

the Mayfield Cultural Center

FREE admittance to see the sculptures from the Tom Runnels Collection, located in the Gallery & Gift Shop on the main level. Two metal sculptures from the Bollinger County Museum of Natural History are on loan and can be viewed during business hours. Along with the display are historical images and documents of the Will Mayfield College 1903-1934(the Mayfield Smith Academy 1878-1903) are on display as part of the Historical Records Collection. To look for students and information related to them you can make an appointment with our in house genealogist. Take a sneak peak at some of the couture jewelry and accessories to be included in our upcoming show "Fake & Fabulous."

The Will Mayfield Heritage Foundation houses the Bollinger County Museum of Natural History and the Mayfield Cultural Center in the last two remaining buildings of the former Will Mayfield College (Mayfield-Smith Academy 1884-1903) in Marble Hill. The Mayfield Cultural Center is a project of the Will Mayfield Heritage Foundation, and is located at 209 Mayfield Drive. Both the Museum and Cultural Center are run almost entirely by volunteers, donations from the public, and rely on the generosity of the communities they serve.
