Past: Drumming Downtown Performance

This semester coNEXTion Community Resource Center started A NEW after school program for children residing in or around Southside Cape Girardeau called Drumming Downtown. Drumming Downtown is a 6 week hand percussion class that is facilitated by Mrs. Pam Dumey (a retired music instructor from Clippard Elementary), Dr. Shane Mizicko (Percussion Professor at SEMO River Campus), and Dr. Elizabeth McFarland (Assistant Professor of Music at SEMO River Campus). There will also be a small performance from SEMO River Campus percussion department. The coNEXTion Kids were taught several hand drumming compositions and they would like to showcase their talents to their families, friends, and community.

THIS IS A FREE EVENT AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! COME OUT AND SUPPORT OUR KIDS! THEY HAVE WORK HARD FOR THIS PERFORMANCE!
