Past: Virtual Program: Intro to Geocaching

Did you know there are treasures hiding all around you? Geocaching is a fun pastime in which you follow GPS coordinates to a specific location or box filled with trinkets. In this program, we will discuss different types of caches, safety, and give you a set of coordinates to explore (Cape County). (all ages. Register at mdc.mo.gov/southeastevents.

Note: Participants will need a mobile GPS unit or to download a GPS app to their smart device to participate in geocaching activity. Participants are welcome to tune in from other parts of the state even though they will be unable to follow the coordinates given.
