Bollinger County Museum of Natural History

In observance of International Archaeology Day, Arrowhead Fred Bollinger will present flint knapping demonstrations at 1:00 pm. There will be limited seating at this program. Registration for the flint knapping demonstrations is required. Face coverings will be required and physical distance seating arrangements will apply to this event. If the 1:00 pm demonstration fills up we will offer a second demonstration at 2:30 pm. You will be notified if you would need to plan on the 2:30 pm demonstration. Tickets can be emailed to you or you may print your square receipt from our website to serve as proof of payment at museum check in on October 10.

Bring your Native American relics or finds with you to the museum for Arrowhead Fred to identify.

Learn about the Missouri dinosaur discovery, see a small replica of the Missouri dinosaur, Hypsibema missouriense, and fossils similar to those found at the dinosaur dig site.

Children’s activities include a children’s fossil dig and fossil scavenger hunt. Pick one of the fossils you dig up to take home with you.

Children may pick up a free archaeology/fossil activity kit containing archaeology games and puzzles to take home as they leave the museum.

Museum admission: Adults $5 & 17 years and under $2
