With warm weather and intense sunlight July is an active month for reptiles like the box turtle. With a sturdy shell that can protect their whole-body, box turtles could be mistaken for a rock but when they get comfortable you can see the beautiful colors on their skin. So come meet our three-toed box turtle at this discovery table. Afterwards, head out onto our trails to see if you can spot one in the wild, they can be found practically anywhere on our trails that gets plenty of sunlight.
